* Have a favorite pair of jeans that are showing their age but you just aren't ready to end your relationship with them?

* Are your maternity jeans gathering dust in the closet waiting for you to find time to do something crafty with them?

* Are your well-loved jeans playing peek-a-boo as the holes get a little bigger every day?

I will work with you to turn those much loved jeans into your very own whale! All those special details that make you adore your jeans can make your whale a wonderful reminder of that perfect pair. This is a great way to commemorate your favorite jeans, or pass them on to your children while keeping them in the family.

I will use your jeans (as well as some denim from my stash if necessary) to create a realistic humpback whale that is sure to become a unique and treasured friend. Handcrafted with love, each whale is perfect for cuddling, using as a car seat pillow, and toting around. Each whale is guaranteed to be unique and will preserve the special details that make your jeans irreplaceable!

Dimensions:
*Large whale:
19" long (nose-tail)
4" tall (belly-top fin)
*Small whale:
12" long (nose-tail)
4" tall (belly-topfin) 3" (belly to top of head)

Materials:
Whale body, fin, & tail - Denim from your favorite jeans
Eyes - cotton hand sewn with embroidery floss
Stuffing - PolyFil

I handcraft each whale and would love to create a custom whale to your specifications. I can customize the underside of the fins and tail if you want something other than denim for an additional cost ~$5 depending on what material you would like. If you look at the small whale in my shop you will see that satin makes a nice bottom for fins and tail. Whales can be personalized for an additional $5. Send me a message and I will make an additional custom listing for you to complete your order.
